What Social Media Content to Schedule for Next Week

One more week is almost behind us, and we are ready to start planning for the next one.

The truth is that we are all aware of the importance of planning out, but we rarely have the time to do so.

However, scheduling part of your social media content in advance (at least a week ahead) is well worth it.

Here is why, we have prepared a few ideas for the week August 28 – Sept 3.

Maybe some day you’ll get to the point of scheduling a month or even a year ahead! But for now, just stick to the weekly schedule by considering our helpful ideas and tips to get you ahead with your social media sharing.

But before we dive deep into the planning, let me remind you of those three important considerations:

Publishing frequency: Publishing frequency and consistency on social media has gone a long way. You need to consider how often you will post updates because having a strict routine helps your audience learn when to expect new content from you. And this, of course, leads to maximizing your audience’s engagement level.

Time-sensitive content. Events, holidays, product launches, contests – many of these time-sensitive events can be planned ahead of time and placed on a calendar.

The 411 Rule. This rule says: 4 educational or entertaining posts for every 1 “soft promotion” and every 1 “hard promotion.” Over promotion is the fastest way to irritate your followers and you do not want to do so.

(NB: You can edit any of our professionally designed social media graphics with DigitalOcto’s DesignPro (no design skills needed). It will take you less than 3 min for each post to make the needed changes like adding logo, text or image. Once your images are done, you can schedule each of your posts with DigitalOcto’s SmartPublisher.)

So keeping those things in mind, and let’s take a look at this week’s ideas
